Claims Handling

Claims handling is a management service that provides professional advice to our clients and a friendly service to our policyholders. Our claims handlers range from new graduates starting their first job in the insurance industry to experienced large loss claims handlers who have been in the industry for years. 

Latent defects insurance is a niche market and all members of the team have been taught by the best in the business, with the two leading experts totalling over 70 years of experience. Within these claims, we deal with smaller matters such as excessive mould to gable walls falling down and multi-story blocks with multiple structural defects and waterproofing breaches. 

A highly trained team

All of our claim handlers are trained to a high standard and are required to enlist and complete their CII certification in the first month of joining us. We encourage all our staff to continue through to their advanced diploma so we can ensure that our clients are getting the best possible expertise, and our large loss members visit site to gain the best possible experience within the industry. 

A thorough review

We ensure that we go through the claims process from beginning to end. We start by reviewing all the information gained and meticulously work through the Policy to ensure that we comply with each insurers terms and conditions and policy wordings. From here, we review whether we require our in-house experts from surveyors to loss adjusters to join us on the claims journey. 

We ensure constant communication is maintained throughout the process to our clients and to policyholders. We make certain all financial figures including reserves and payments are accurate at each step of the process.
